Transit Driver (Part-Time, On Call)

Non-exempt; part-time / on-call coverage (up to a possible 40 hrs / wk); varying shifts between 5 : 00 a.m. - 10 : 30 p.m.; Monday - Saturday; grant-funded; no-benefits; New hires must complete 40 hours of in-office training within their first 30 days. Accommodations will be considered for those with secondary employment.

Saturday Shift Differential morning shift = additional $3.00 per hour; afternoon shift = additional $5.00 per hour; evening shift (after 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday) = additional shift premium of $0.62 applies. Additional Differential - The base rate of pay for this position is $22.45 per hour, however is eligible to earn a $2.50 differential, making the current rate of pay $24.95 per hour. The $2.50 pay differential is dependent on a separate funding source and is subject to change based on that funding source. This position is responsible for operating a transit-type bus or other Transit vehicle to transport the general public, including people with disabilities. Supervision is received from the Operations Supervisor and / or the Operations Manager.
