At SENER we know that, with the right people on board, everything is possible. Our office in Los Angeles is seeking a CAD Technician with a civil background to join our team in Los Angeles. Must be based in the Los Angeles area.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician with a strong background in civil engineering and specific expertise in railway or road design.. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience working both with Bentley and AutoDesk platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Railway Design and Drafting : Use Bentley and AutoDesk software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs and drafts for complex railway projects.
• Project Management : Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to ensure all project requirements are met and adhere to the established specifications and standards.
• Quality Assurance : Review and modify CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality in line with civil engineering principles and railway design standards.
• Training and Leadership : Provide guidance and training to junior CAD Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of all design and drafting activities related to railway projects.
• Setting up and maintaining the common CAD / BIM environments used across our projects.
• Coordinating the work of draftsmen internally and with our subconsultants, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Streamlining workflows and data exchange to avoid rework and improve productivity.

Qualifications :

we will need a Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a CAD Technician in the civil engineering field, with a focus on railway design or similar project work
