We are seeking a skilled robotics engineer to deploy autonomous systems onto existing terminal tractors and support on-site testing, validation, and service engineering. This is not a research role but focuses on implementing and integrating existing autonomous vehicle software, ensuring seamless operation in real-world environments. The ideal candidate will also assist with vehicle recovery and sensor calibration tasks.
Role responsibilities
Deploy and integrate autonomous vehicle software onto existing terminal tractors, ensuring compatibility with vehicle hardware.
Conduct on-site testing and validation of autonomous systems to ensure functionality, safety, and performance in terminal operations.
Assist with vehicle recovery operations, ensuring safe and efficient return to base during operational issues.
Work closely with hardware engineers and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in software development or system deployment, ideally in robotics, autonomous systems, or automotive industries.
Proficiency in software deployment tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Linux).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
