About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Hours per Shift : 32 hours guaranteed

Experience : Minimum 3 years required

License : Must be licensed in good standing as a Physical Therapist

Certifications : Current BLS

Must-Have :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy
• No minimum clinical experience required; hospital-based experience helpful
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret physical therapy periodicals and medical literature
• Ability to compose patient care documentation and medical correspondence
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and administrative personnel
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from different cultures who may or may not speak English
• Ability to operate a personal computer, including basic MS Office programs and email
• Ability to utilize the internet to access medical literature beneficial to patient care
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to solve practical problems in various situations

Description :

Provides full-time, quality outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care.

Treats all age ranges and diagnoses within the scope of practice for physical therapy.

Incorporates evidence-based medicine into patient plans of care.

Exemplifies professional conduct, patient care ethics, and respect for cultural diversity when rendering patient care.

Modifies patient care plans appropriately, considering age-specific and patient-specific factors.

Supports the mission of the health organization.

Standard physical therapy environments include equipment such as hi-lo tables, whirlpools, and therapeutic exercise equipment.

Mobile treatment scenarios involve bringing necessary tools for patient care.

Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is essential.

All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
