Contract - Estate Planning Legal Assistant - Cincinnati, OH

Aspen Careers is partnering with a well-respected Cincinnati law firm to find a skilled Legal Assistant for its Estate Planning Practice Group . This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to helping clients through the estate planning process. It's an excellent fit for someone with legal or administrative experience who enjoys meaningful work, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional client service.

What We're Looking For :

1+ years of legal experience assisting attorneys in Estate Planning, Trusts, or Probate.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent proofreading skills.

Ability to multitask and timely respond to deadlines as well as balance workload.

Strong typing and organization skills, and be detail-oriented.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tracker, and iManage or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with drafting and preparing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.

Managed client intake process, gathered necessary financial and personal information, and maintained accurate client records.

Assist with coordinating document execution.

Corresponded with clients and financial institutions to obtain required information and facilitate case progress.

Organize and maintain electronic and physical files in accordance with confidentiality and data retention policies.
