Job Description American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a VA or compact RN license and current BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting

Night shifts or rotating shifts available, 4x12 hour schedule (19 : 00–07 : 00)

Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients; pediatric cardiac experience is a plus

Required to work every other weekend

Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays during the contract

Uses Epic EMR system, Epic experience required for float pool and inpatient units

Float assignments may be required based on clinical experience

Up to 40 hours of approved time off are permitted during a 13-week contract

No time off approved during the first two weeks of the contract

No radius rule applies for this position

A minimum of 12 months must pass before returning as a traveler

Candidates with known background concerns should notify the agency

Requirements Active VA or compact RN license; pending VA license may be considered

Current BLS and PALS certifications are required

Pediatric cardiac experience preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of required certifications, driver’s license, and SSN must be provided
