Description : The unit has 10 beds and a staffing ratio of 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 patient care technician on the night shift. Patient ratios are typically 1 : 3 or 1 : 4. The unit utilizes various equipment including Bipap, Trach vents, and EMR systems. Candidates should be familiar with medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline.
