STS Aerospace is looking for a Material Planner to join our growing team!
In this critical role youll be responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials to support manufacturing operations maintaining supplier performance and driving inventory efficiency. Youll play a key role in building strong supplier relationships and ensuring product availabilityall while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications : Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain supplier schedules to reflect accurate delivery commitments.
- Proactively manage supplier performance address delinquencies and develop recovery plans as needed.
- Communicate upcoming supplier issues to internal stakeholders especially to the Kreisler team.
- Expedite critical materials throughout the supply chain including managing dock-to-stock processes.
- Elevate material shortages or risks across the organization in a timely and solutions-focused manner.
- Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements.
- Maintain optimal inventory levelsminimizing excess while ensuring production continuity.
- Participate in physical inventory activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Enter daily receipts and service transactions accurately and promptly.
- Communicate clearly courteously and effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Foster strong supplier relationships based on trust responsiveness and mutual accountability.
