Responsibilities
The Rural Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial operations of a rural hospital, including planning, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing the hospital's budget, controlling expenses, ensuring regulatory compliance, and playing a key role in strategic planning to support the hospital's financial health and sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting, or finance from an accredited institution approved by the University of South Alabama. A minimum of ten years of progressive experience in healthcare financial management, preferably in a multi-hospital system. A Master's degree and / or CPA designation are preferred. Experience within health systems is also preferred.
