Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Operation Officer and Imaging Director, the RSO is delegated the authority, organizational freedom, and management prerogative to maintain an effective Radiation Safety Program. This program shall operate in accordance with all state, federal, and other related regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Education : Bachelors of Science preferred

Required Licenses / Certifications : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT). TMB / Texas Department of Health Certification in Medical Radiologic Technology. Certified through an accredited Radiation Safety Officers Program. Registered in Radiation Therapy preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : Minimum of 5 years in Radiology & 2 years experience in Radiation Safety
