Step into Your New Role

As a  Transportation Design Engineer,  you will be working on cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary roadway design projects for high-profile state agencies and large municipalities. You will work closely with our team of civil engineers to support and deliver roadway design projects including incorporation of multimodal facilities, traffic calming treatments, urban streets roadway designs and modifications, accessibility improvements, transit network upgrades, drainage assessments and designs, public and private utility coordination, and green infrastructure elements. This role is a hybrid remote office schedule based in our Perrysburg, OH office.

Responsibilities :

• Providing technical expertise on projects from the conceptual and preliminary engineering design phase to final design.
• Providing technical expertise on projects beyond final design to through construction phase services.
• Coordinating with architects, bridge, environmental, geotechnical, survey, and traffic professionals, to complete multi-disciplinary project deliverables.
• Assisting project managers in various aspects of roadway design, utility infrastructure design and coordination, development of construction documents, and construction support services.
• Preparing detailed civil design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages.
• Working with Project Managers to ensure that production of specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
