Summary of Responsibilities
The senior manager works with the vice president of portfolio services to provide strategic direction for existing complex portfolio clients within assigned regions and partners to maximize client satisfaction. This role is responsible for growing assigned properties within the portfolio by leveraging the Avenue5 tools and technology to maximize performance results. This role ensures that each property within their portfolio is consistently and accurately utilizing the tools and maintaining the high-quality standards set.
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives
Understand the client and company's business objectives to ensure maximization and satisfaction of client accountsServe as the strategic business partner responsible for revenue growth for complex clients and partners within assigned regionsPartner with operations and portfolio service teams to achieve growth and operational KPI's for portfolio clients in assigned regionsCreate and maintain report for property owners and Avenue5 leadershipLead all aspects of the client relationship including communications, planning, education, and problem resolutionProvide subject matter expertise to clients to ensure product utilization is optimalDocument quality issues and build and execute corrective action plan.Ensure the completion of corrective action responses to prevent issue reoccurrence.Understand the market landscape including pricing trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and client requirements within assigned regionsMaintain an expert level knowledge and understanding of all Avenue5 products and servicesReview financials and recommend changes to increase profit potential for all properties and portfolio clientsLead special projects to support client development within assigned regionsCollaborate on all RFP and RFI responses as related to assigned portfolio in conjunction with sales and client servicesPerform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree is preferredReal estate license as required by state or local lawFive or more years of experience in multi-family property management is requiredFive or more years of direct management experience is requiredFive or more years of experience in managing, expanding, and developing relationships with clients is requiredCPM certification is preferredParticipation in industry groups is preferredFive or more years of experience in Yardi Voyager or other equivalent system is requiredUnderstanding of HUD and / or loan assistance process is preferredSkills and Requirements
Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technologyTrack record of accomplishments and high-impact resultsAbility to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skills to facilitate the timely completion of projects with differing deadlinesAbility to read and understand financial statementsAbility to create a climate in which associates want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision with associates and providing coaching and developmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat ProExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to othersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRequired to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assignedScheduling
