Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med / Surg Telemetry float position requiring a ME or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work as a float RN in the Med / Surg Telemetry department within a hospital setting
  • Role covers various units as needed according to the hospital's float policy
  • Patient population includes med / surg and telemetry cases
  • Night shift schedule from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius to other facilities as needed
  • Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (ME or NH residents) will be considered local for pay purposes
  • Returning employees must not have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months
  • Travel pairs or groups are not allowed for this position
  • No extensions or renewals for local travelers
  • Must be able to float to multiple facilities as dictated by patient care needs

  • Active ME or compact RN license required at time of application
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience
  • Current driver's license required
  • Must provide SSN and DOB for consideration
