Job descriptionOperates and sets up various manufacturing equipment including die cutting machines, compression molding presses, ATOM flash cutters, polyurea spray systems, sandblasting equipment, and urethane processing machinery to produce quality parts according to specifications. Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications; conducts inspections for defects and ensures parts meet quality standards. Processes work orders through completion including bagging, tagging, cleaning, labeling, and preparing parts for shipping; delivers defect-free products on-time to internal and external customers. Maintains clean and organized work areas; safely lifts and moves materials up to 50 lbs. using correct techniques; follows all safety procedures and wears required PPE. Troubleshoots equipment issues and supports all positions in department to achieve maximum production efficiency. Provides and supports a positive work environment that promotes efficiency and employee engagement. Responsible for profitability of company and attaining goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors. Participates in corporate on-boarding and orientation programs. Trains and enforces policies, rules, and procedures of corporation to facilitate continuous improvement. Identifies, recommends, and pursues professional skills and educational development opportunities for self. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. High School diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing or production work experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions. Ability to bend, lift, and carry weight up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques Exotic Automation & Supply is an Industrial Supplier and Manufacturer. Position Hours :
- Monday through Thursday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM Operates various manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products across multiple disciplines including die cutting, spray coating, molding, and surface preparation.
- This role requires continuous skill development while maintaining efficient operations, quality standards, and a safe work environment.
Essential Job Functions :
Prepares materials and monitors machine parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, cycle times); performs surface preparation including sandblasting, cleaning, and applying coatings using specialized spray equipment.
