The Hatcher Group is seeking an experienced, mission-driven communications professional with a strong background in media relations to join our team. As our in-house media relations specialist, you'll lead strategic media relations initiatives for clients committed to causes such as public health, education, and the environment. You will manage high-impact public relations campaigns, identify key media outlets and strategic partners to enhance client reach, and secure both national and local media coverage. You will play a key role in driving impactful campaigns for nonprofit organizations, government entities, and partners aligned with Hatcher's commitment to justice and sustainability.

What You'll Do

• Lead media relations strategy and execution across multiple client accounts.
• Draft and edit press releases, op-eds, media advisories, and other public-facing content.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with national and local media outlets and partners.
• Develop comprehensive media strategies tailored to target audiences and client goals.
• Secure media placements and coverage that elevate client initiatives.
• Manage integrated public relations campaigns across our practice areas.
• Coordinate with creative and digital teams to support media outreach with compelling content.
