Patient Care Technician

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient / resident care activities.
Responsibilities :
- Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Performs basic patient / resident care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, performing basic phlebotomy, and recording intake and output.
- Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming and eating.
