Position Overview
The Interior Design Associate will assist project managers in the conceptualization, design development, and execution of interior design projects. This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-5 years of experience in interior design. The position offers opportunities for growth and mentorship within a collaborative, creative team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating design concepts for commercial projects.
Support large and small projects.
Source materials, furniture, fabrics, and finishes for projects.
Perform site visits to assess spaces and gather relevant information for design purposes.
Prepare image sessions, color palettes, and design presentations; assist with client presentations and meetings; and prepare meeting agendas and document project meetings.
Qualifications
0-5 years of experience in interior design.
Proficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of design principles, spatial arrangements, and color theory.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of building codes and design standards.
