Job descriptionMinimum year of experience as a pharmacy technician or closely related role Minimum one year of experience required in a customer service position taking inbound calls, helping with counting and preparing medications for pharmacist verification. A Pharm Tech license is required. Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) are a must. A Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. A Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Job Title : Pharmacy Technician I
Job Location : San Antonio, TX 78229
Job Duration : 3 months+ Extension
Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM (8-hour shifts within this timeframe)
Job Summary :
- This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc, providing professional phone assistance to all callers.
- This role also helps prepare medications (counting, applying labels) for the pharmacist's final verification, along with any other pharmacy technician job functions not mentioned here specifically.
