Job Summary for CT Technologist - Chicago, IL

• Location : Chicago, IL
• Facility Size : 205 beds; Level II NICU; No trauma designation
• Patient Types : Inpatient, outpatient, ER, stroke patients
• Patient Ratio : 1 : 1
• Experience Required : Minimum 3 years
• First-time Travelers : Considered upon review
• Required Certifications : BLS, ARRT-CT
• Skills Required :
• Perform routine and emergency CT exams
• Perform CTA / angiography
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Competency in IV and venipuncture
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Equipment / Charting Systems :
• EPIC charting system
• GE PACS
• GE CT Scanner
• Floating : Not required
• Orientation : Hospital orientation plus one shift on the unit
• Scheduling :
• Weekend rotation : Every 3rd weekend
• Up to 7 days off can be approved
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday coverage required (New Year's Eve 11p-11a)
