Job Title : Bachelor-Level Clinician - Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Employment Type : PRN - Flexible hours

PRN : A minimum of two shifts per month is required. Additional shifts are available, and you may select the days that best fit your schedule.

Position Summary :

The Bachelor-Level Clinician is a key member of the multidisciplinary treatment team in the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). This role provides direct client care under the supervision of a licensed clinician and supports the assessment, intervention, and stabilization of individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises. The clinician ensures timely coordination of services, assists in discharge planning, and contributes to creating a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct initial behavioral health screenings and psychosocial assessments under supervision.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment and safety plans.
• Provide supportive counseling, de-escalation, and crisis intervention using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.
• Monitor client behavior and participate in therapeutic activities and group sessions.
• Document services provided in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with agency policy and licensing standards.
• Coordinate with nurses, psychiatrists, peer support specialists, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in shift handoffs, treatment team meetings, and daily rounds.
• Assist with discharge planning, including linking clients to outpatient services and community resources.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Physical Requirements :

This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role
