Cashier Opportunity At Saint Luke's Hospital

The Opportunity: Saint Luke's Hospital, our Plaza location, is seeking a cashier to be responsible for all cash handling processes within the cafeteria while performing the duties of cashier. This includes the task of accounting for all monies received and dispensed from the cash drawer and maintaining the established cash par levels in the assigned bank. This position also includes active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including, but not limited to simple preparation, delivery, and or service of food, meals, snacks and supplements to customers. Workflow includes set up, clean up, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, and or equipment. This person will also complete barista duties.

Shift Details: 40 hours per week 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM on weekends 9:00 AM to 5:30 on weekdays

The Work: Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations. Preparing cafeteria food service and delivery of food to customers Restocking of cafeteria supplies Maintaining sanitation of work areas dishes and equipment. Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to assure continued availability to customers. Assisting in other cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as necessary.

There are a variety of roles available within nutrition and can include food runner, tray line, food prep, dishwasher, store room, and more. The ideal candidate values teamwork and has great customer service. You'll need to be able to work quickly and efficiently.
