📍 Chantilly, VA | 🕒 Full-Time | 🔒 TS / SCI with Polygraph | Onsite   Overview Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a  Senior Data Scientist (Level 3)  in Chantilly, VA.

This position leads advanced data science initiatives, guiding teams to deliver innovative AI / ML solutions and actionable insights that directly support national security missions.

What You’ll Do   Lead teams applying  data science techniques  to cybersecurity challenges.

Oversee development of   predictive models, ML algorithms, and advanced analytics .

Deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leaders and warfighters.

Spearhead data engineering and management efforts.

Mentor junior staff and define requirements for advanced analytic approaches.

Stay current on AI / ML and LLM advances to strengthen mission outcomes.

Do You Have What It Takes?   Active  TS / SCI with Polygraph .

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent. 7+ years of relevant experience   in analytics, AI / ML, or advanced data science.

Expert knowledge of data visualizations, large language models (LLMs), and ML techniques.

Preferred :

• Cybersecurity and mission operations background.
• Leadership or technical project management experience.
• Agile methodology knowledge (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
