The Security Officer I - Third Shift plays a significant rolein ensuring a safe, secure, and friendly environment by enforcing securitypolicies and being responsible for safeguarding Kohler Co. and the Kohlerbrand. This is accomplished by identifying risks, maintaining securityprocesses in order to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure orliability in all areas : financial, physical, and personnel. The Security Officer I - Third Shift will also ensure that standardized security practices, systems, and processesare being utilized to meet Corporate Security guidelines and policies.

The Security Officer I - Third Shift is a friendlyresource to individuals who need assistance, medical aid, crisis intervention,or local directions. They respond quickly in emergency situations as anintegral team member and serve to protect the property, guests, visitors, andemployees of Kohler Co.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of a KohlerCo. Security Supervisor, and within defined timeframes, a Security Officer I - Third Shift is :

• Responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of personnel, customers, visitors, and assets.
• Responsible for monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
• Responsible for greeting visitors in person in order to provide assistance or refer to an appropriate company representative.
• Responsible for operating a multi-channel radio with multiple frequencies.
• Responsible for observing and reporting all suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Responsible for managing the access control requirements in a manner that ensures the highest level of security in an efficient manner.
• Responsible for accurately understanding various transmissions, (e.g. telephone, radio, etc.) and transcribe information (e.g. numbers, letters, names and facts) from one source to another in a timely manner.
• Responsible for deterring crime by providing a general security presence.
• Responsible for developing an operating knowledge of Kohler security and fire systems and able to respond appropriately.
• Responsible for assisting with special assignments during periods of emergency or as requested by management.
• Responsible for providing transportation services with company vehicles as needed.
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining required certification in CPR, First Aid, fire extinguisher, etc.
• Responsible for acting as a security and safety resource to other departments and local emergency services as dictated
