Job Title : E & I Technician
Job Description
As an E & I Technician, you will service, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment in the facility, including milling equipment, pumps, and rolls. You will work on process instrumentation controls such as valves, level temperature, flow, pH, consistency, and consistency transmitters, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Diagnosing and repairing systems such as electrical, DC drives, DCS systems, frequency drives, and PLC programming and troubleshooting with Siemens is essential.

Work Environment
The work environment is extremely dirty and hot, with large moving parts, high places, and cramped spaces. The building is old, and the maintenance team is large, comprising over 10 millwrights and E&I techs. A union environment requires wearing steel toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection at all times on the floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83408.00 - $83408.00 / yr.
Benefits and Insurance are offered through Alsip Mini Mill as a full time placement.

This is a fully onsite position in Alsip,IL.
