LPN / RN School Based

Description Location : Erie County, PA Overview : Seeking LPN / RN school nurse for student support within the school setting. This position also could include bus support to and from school and accompanying on field trips. Compensation : LPN - $31, RN - $35 Job Responsibilities : Conducting student hearing and vision screenings Educating students on hygiene and safety practices Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions Verifying vaccination records and maintain state vaccine reports Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected Administering first aid and CPR Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises Contacting parents when students are ill or injured Requirements : LPN or RN nursing license in state of PA CPR & First Aid Certification Knowledge of any state and federal healthcare laws and regulations. Demonstrates clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassionate.
