WHAT YOU’LL DO :

The Consumer Lending Specialist maintains a unique working knowledge of all the credit union's available product and service offerings. This position is responsible for performing member service and sales functions and providing support to serve and resolve member's inquiries. The position requires exercising independent judgment while determining the products or services that will help our members become more financially successful.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING :

Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 : 00am – 6 : 00pm, and rotating Saturdays from 9 : 00am - 1 : 00pm, at our Plymouth Corporate Office or Burnsville Administrative Office; non-exempt.

In addition :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related financial services and / or proven sales experience.
• Previous telephone sales experience, preferred.
• Consumer lending experience, preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous PC experience in Microsoft Office products; Meridian Link experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
• Math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work as a team player, being flexible and dependable.
• Work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
• Required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in TruStone Financial’s SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
• Maintains compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
• Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

WHAT WE OFFER :

The salary range for this position is $23.50 to $29.50 per hour. In addition, we offer :
