Pay : $100 / hour
Schedule : 2 days per week | 2-hour sessions
About the Opportunity
Hustle & Heart Sports Performance is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and energetic Personal Trainer to lead 1-on-1 and group training sessions for youth with special needs. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive, high-quality training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead customized workout plans tailored to the needs of children with varying abilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 and group training sessions that are safe, inclusive, and fun
- Adapt exercises and instruction to accommodate physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Provide a positive and encouraging experience for all participants
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents / guardians
- Maintain a professional and supportive training environment at all times
Qualifications
Certification as a Personal Trainer through a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA)CPR / AED and First Aid certification (required or willingness to obtain before start date)Prior experience working with children and / or individuals with special needs is highly preferredPreferred specialized certifications (not required but a plus) :NASM Certified Special Population Specialist (CES or PES)
ACSM Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer (CIFT)ACE Special Population SpecialistStrongEducation Adaptive Special Needs CertificationAbility to adapt fitness plans for various physical and cognitive abilitiesExcellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skillsA genuine passion for working with youth in an inclusive environmentExperience with special needs youth is a plus, but not required (were open to candidates willing to learn)What We Offer
