Job Summary And Responsibilities

Performs a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. They provide assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. They perform cleaning functions in patient care unit as delegated, and perform selected diagnostic tests. Essential key job responsibilities include : providing direct patient care as delegated by RN staff; monitoring and recording vital signs; assisting in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs; accurately measuring, recording, and reporting intake and output; obtaining and recording daily weight; and performing blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter.

Job Requirements

Required License and Certifications : High School Diploma / GED, BLS-AHA

Required Minimum Skills, Abilities and Training : Good written / oral communication skills; prior patient care experience preferred.
