We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to train in Pine Bluff before permanently moving to work in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the front desk operations of a medical facility, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing prior authorizations.
Responsibilities :
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing information and directing inquiries as needed
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of physicians' schedules
- Verify patient insurance details and manage prior authorizations for treatments
- Manage receptionist duties, ensuring smooth operations of the front desk
- Maintain patient records by updating and retrieving information as required
- Handle sensitive information with discretion, adhering to patient privacy and confidentiality rules
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical professionals, and insurance companies to resolve any issues or concerns
- Ensure the reception area is well-maintained, organized, and presents a welcoming environment for patients
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the medical facility.
