Outside Sales Representative - Construction - Base Salary to 75k / year - Baton Rouge, LA

- They are adding an Outside Sales Representative for the Baton Rouge area focused on cathodic protection and related services. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will sell the full product portfolio while leading with CP expertise combining technical know-how with business development to deliver tailored proposals and coordinate safe, efficient project execution.
Responsibilities :
Build and execute a territory plan targeting pipelines, terminals, refineries, chemical plants, water / wastewater, and utility owners.Scope CP needs through site visits and data review; translate findings into solutions.Prepare labor-inclusive proposals, estimates, and schedules; price within guidelines and negotiate terms to close.Coordinate with engineering / operations to develop material lists, construction plans, and logistics.Manage project handoffs, kickoffs, and change-order capture.Maintain disciplined pipeline, activity notes, and forecasts in CRM.Conduct competitor and market tracking; report weekly results and pipeline health to branch / regional leadership.Cross-sell access, scaffolding, shoring, containment, coatings, and inspection services to increase utilization and margin.Promote engineered, standards-compliant solutions that reduce downtime and lifecycle cost.Qualifications :
3+ years of labor or contract sales experience.Cathodic protection and construction experience.Salesforce or other CRM proficiency with consistent pipeline hygiene.Industrial or commercial construction market experience.Familiarity with integrity / compliance frameworks and site safety practices.Compensation :
