This position offers variety in all areas of mold making. Help us with full mold builds, repairs, mold maintenance, and the creative development and building of fixtures that support part quality and aid in second operations. Successful candidates can troubleshoot molds and enjoy working independently as well as in teams. Interested in learning mold design or enhancing your mold design skills? That’s only a plus. Hours for this role will be 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pm Monday – Friday

The building of quality, long-lasting molds is the core of who we are and is the foundation upon which our production facilities rely to deliver the high-quality parts we are known for in the medical device, agricultural and industrial industries. We are a full-service custom molder taking customers from design to the completed part. Our in-house tool room builds molds from simple to sophisticated. Our production expertise ranges from critical tolerance engineered components to a standard fitting line.

Scope of Work :

Build molds, fixtures or related tools and complete tooling repairs and revisions.

Setup and operate toolroom equipment needed to build, repair, revise and service molds, fixtures and related tools in a correct and timely manner.

Proficient at programming, setting-up and operating CNC machine tools.

Ensure projects are completed within the quoted time and material limits.

Plan and lay out work from CAD models and drawings.

Design and create CAD models or drawings for mold components and related tools as needed.

Troubleshoot mechanical mold problems.

Prepare tooling components for outside vendor services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

4+ years of injection mold making experience.

Proficient in 3-axis CNC mill programming from solid CAD models.

Solid Modeling and complex 3-D programming experience required.

Confident working with all traditional machinery found in a full tool room

Able to work independently and as a team member to achieve common goals.

Experience with mold design is a plus.

Physical Job Requirements :

Ability to spend 90% of the workday walking or standing.

Essential job duties require reaching, bending and grasping.

Some heavy lifting may be required
