Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for licensed Special Education Teachers to support students in various grade levels within a full-time contract role based in the Philadelphia, PA area. This position provides specialized instruction and intervention in learning support and inclusion settings, focusing on enhancing student success in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver targeted academic support to small groups of up to 12 students in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to meet students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to promote inclusive and effective learning environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
  • Support classroom management to ensure a positive and productive educational atmosphere.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Special Education teaching license.
  • Experience working with elementary-level students, particularly in Learning Support and Inclusion roles.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional techniques for diverse learners.
  • Ability to manage small group instruction effectively.
  • Excellent munication and teamwork skills.

    • Position Details :

  • Locations include three openings based on grade level preferences :

    • 1) 1st & 2nd Grade Learning Support

    2) 2nd & 3rd Grade Learning Support

    3) Kindergarten Inclusion

  • Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 45 PM.
  • Contract position starting August 19th, with students beginning September 2nd.
