CPC Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist II in the Revenue Cycle for Physical Medicine & Rehab.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ICD and CPT coding of provider services, ensuring accurate charge information is entered

Communicate with providers regarding coding issues and provide education as needed

Process charges into the billing system and ensure all charges are reconciled and captured

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 1 year of coding experience required

CPC or equivalent coding credential required and must be maintained

Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

Familiarity with payer-specific coding rules and regulatory guidelines
