POSITION OVERVIEW : The Development Manager helps grow First Place for Youth’s fundraising from donations made by individuals and family foundations by planning strategic moves management, managing annual campaign appeals and stewardship, and collaborating on donor communication and events. This role will help key staff and members of the Board to identify and engage current and potential high-capacity donors by collaborating on engagement and stewardship strategies. This includes working closely with the Development Directors in planning, execution, and reporting for critical fundraising events and smaller donor engagement and volunteer activities. The individual in this role will regularly interact with current and prospective donors out in the community, through meetings, events, and presentations.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

(40%) Manage Individual Donor Stewardship

Create individual communication and marketing plans tailored for donors in each portfolio

(25%) Lead the Annual Giving Campaign

(20%) Supervise Development Associate

(5%) Optimize Development Data Utilization

(10%) Other
