Feast Coast Hospitality, which oversees hospitality brands Original Grain, XO Taco, Fly Bird fried chicken, and Hot Stuff Sauce is looking for a results-driven restaurant manager to manage a new restaurant operation in Syracuse with a focus on leadership, coaching and mentoring staff focused on thoughtful and intentional hospitality.
Responsibilities :
- Team building and coaching.
- Managing daily food and beverage operations.
- Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering supplies for restaurant operations.
- Building positive relationships with employees, customers and vendors.
- Adhering to the food and beverage budget.
- Following food and safety regulations.
- Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
- Assisting with catering and large events.
- Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets / goals, and SOPs.
- Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff.
- Teach, coach and mentor all Front of House hospitality employees including hosts, servers and bartenders.
- Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints.
Requirements :
Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous.In-depth knowledge of the food industry.Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant POS software.Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.Excellent customer service skills.Great delegation skills.Team PlayerLeader by example.Interviews will be set up via text message
