RESPONSIBILITIES :

Kforce has a client in Lake Station, Indiana (IN) that is seeking a Process Control Engineer on a contract basis.

Summary :

The Process Control Engineer will be tasked with developing and maintaining hardware and software of systems, as well as communicating with real-time applications, models, and databases. The role also involves engineering, installing, designing, testing, and troubleshooting a family of PLCs.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience in Computer, Physics, Electrical, or Data Science field.
• Experience with PLC block and ladder logic programming.
• Strong understanding of SCADA and HMI's is required.
• Experience with .NET or C#.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Ability to problem solve and multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Oracle, Oracle RDB, and Microsoft SQL Server databases is preferred.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. The actual pay may vary based on multiple factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and more. Note : Pay is not considered compensation until earned, vested, and determinable. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
