LHH is partnering with our Richmond manufacturing client in their search for a qualified Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a critical role in overseeing the daily accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Job Description

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of entries.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Review and post the daily AR cash receipts batch entries.
• Review and post the daily AP and PO invoices batch entries.
• Coordinate and assist with external financial statement audits.
• Identify process and system improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Become the technical partner with external system consultants.
• ;Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in an accurate and timely manner (in accordance with the group’s closing schedule).
• Participate in month-end reporting discussions and support site leadership with financial inquiries or ad-hoc requests.
• Prepare and ensure the monthly close schedule is maintained and adhered to.
• Complete month-end bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

Pay Details : $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
