Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available in New Haven, CT, for the uping school year. This contract position offers the chance to work with diverse student populations who have multiple special education needs. Placement may be at one of two nearby locations, with consideration given to existing candidate experience to identify the best caseload fit.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with various special education requirements across K-12 grade levels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and municate effectively with families and educational staff.
• Support inclusive classroom environments and foster student engagement.
