Position : Registered Dietitian, full time position

Location : The Bronx, New York

Salary : Up to $87,000 per year

About the Role :

Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team and play a crucial role in promoting residents' health and well-being. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Nutritional Assessments : Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including during admission, readmission, quarterly reviews, and annual evaluations.

Individualized Care Plans : Develop customized care plans to address each resident's dietary needs.

Team Collaboration : Actively participate in food service department meetings and comprehensive care plan meetings.

Supervision : Oversee kitchen staff and tray line operations as needed to ensure proper food handling and service.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure ongoing adherence to all regulatory agency requirements to maintain high-quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar medical setting.

Education : Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications : RD or CDN preferred but not required.
