2Nd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator

PrideStaff is currently seeking a 2Nd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator for a refrigerated / freezer distribution warehouse located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate : $21.50 per hour to start

Sunday to Thursday (Sunday 4am to 12 : 30pm) Monday to Thursday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 30pm

Job Duties :

• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT
• Environment is typically 34 degrees and freezers are below zero!
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently (equipment to include, but not limited to stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment, yard trucks)
• Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• No case selection or case pick, all freight is handled in full-pallet quantity.
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and / or damage
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment
• Comply with OSHA standards
• Report all safety malfunctions on equipment
• Participate in physical inventories, as needed
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
• Must be able to meet production standards
• Charge or change forklift battery, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
