We are looking for a new Facility Maintenance Technician

to join our growing Maintenance Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Maintenance Supervisor and i

s responsible for

the upkeep,

installation

and repair of a variety of mechanical systems,

machinery

and equipment within the SupplyHouse fulfillment center. The maintenance mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring that machinery and equipment

operate

efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting overall operations.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location :

290,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 3840 Lockbourne Industrial Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43207

New Location : 525,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 6085 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43110 (Opening this March)

Schedule :

Monday through Friday, from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm EST

Base Salary :

$25.50 per hour (paid weekly)

Responsibilities :

Perform routine inspections, service and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to prevent problems before they arise

This includes following preventative maintenance schedules, checking for signs of malfunction and making necessary adjustments

Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime

This involves observing equipment in operation, using diagnostic tools and dismantling or replacing parts as needed

Install and assemble new machinery and equipment

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used and equipment status

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe and organized work environment

Respond to emergency repair requests

and

overtime as needed

Assist and train junior maintenance personnel

Provide technical assistance and information to other team members

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Vocational school, on-job-training or apprenticeship experience

A strong understanding of machinery and mechanical systems

including electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems

Proficiency in using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment

Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical issues efficiently

• Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently

Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
