About The Position We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Michigan, starting Nov 10, 2025. This opportunity offers a busy clinic and surgical schedule, Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM, with no call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly productive and comfortable performing both surgeries and procedures, including injections, with an emphasis on delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. Job Details Location : Michigan Start Date : Nov 10, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Ophthalmologist Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM; preference for two weeks on, two weeks off; no call Responsibilities and Duties Perform ophthalmic surgeries and in-office procedures Provide patient care in a busy clinic setting Administer injections as clinically indicated Manage a minimum of 4 clinic patients per hour Complete 12-14 procedures or surgeries daily Conduct follow-up appointments during the second week of assignments Adhere to all required clinical protocols and standards Additional Information Current Michigan medical license required Board certification in Ophthalmology required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong productivity and time management skills are essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
