Weiss Zarett Brofman Sonnenklar & Levy, P.C. is a well-established law firm with a concentration in commercial, healthcare, and real estate litigation. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide critical support to our litigation Department.

Responsibilities :

  • Firm-wide litigation calendar management
  • Scheduling, document management, and client communication.
  • Draft, proofread, and organize legal documents, including letters, pleadings, discovery responses, and memorandum.
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, witnesses, and government agencies as needed.
  • Maintain and update litigation files in compliance with firm policies.
  • Deposition and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits.
  • NYSCEF and PACER efiling
  • Assist with billing, expense tracking, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Approximately 1,200 billable hours, with the balance of the time focused on administrative duties
  • Paralegal Certification or Degree (Required)

Qualifications :

  • Prior experience as a paralegal in litigation required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Having a notary is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Please note that the location is not accessible by train , so having access to a car or alternative means of transportation will be necessary.

    Additionally, while we currently offer flexibility, we do require three days in the office per week after the first six months of continuous employment. This policy supports our efforts as we work toward introducing a more permanent remote work structure in the future.
