This growth has provided a need for a Client Accountant to help deliver personal and experienced service to our vast array of clients.

The Role

At Lucas Horsfall, a Client Accountant supports clients and their representatives with personal and business financial matters, including full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and fund transfers for individuals and corporations. This role works closely with Account Managers and involves direct client interaction. The role will be achieved in a hybrid environment out of our Encino office location.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash receipts.


• Date stamp invoices, bills, etc. on the day received and file same in the client’s Accounts Payable File until processing.


• Prepare Accounts Payable for scanning and entry into AgilLink.


• Print checks and assemble them with appropriate invoice.


• Arrange for mailing, or otherwise disburses, all checks.


• Maintain a recurring list of checks to be mailed at a future date.


• Maintain Client Files, i.e. cash receipts, a/p, je’s, transfers. Check that images are properly scanned.


• Record payroll either in-house or with Paychex. This includes all the quarterly and annual filing requirements.


• Prepare and submit wire requests and transfers.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of accounting experience.


• BA/BS degree in accounting from an accredited university or a strong combination of education and experience.


• Ability to work efficiently and to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.


• Must be able to take ownership of projects, think and work independently with the capacity to research issues and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent.


• Experience working with entertainment clients.


• Experience working with AgilLink.

The pay range for this role is $58,000 - $63,000 per year. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education, and/or skill level.
