Radiology Physician

Job Opportunity : Locum Physician - Radiology (Telehealth) Join a renowned healthcare facility in Asheboro, North Carolina, offering a unique telehealth opportunity in Radiology. This position allows you to provide high-quality patient care remotely while working within a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive tele-radiology services across three locations. Read and interpret various imaging modalities including XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. Handle high-volume emergency department cases with a focus on stroke / perfusion. Meet daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases in an 8-hour shift. Participate in collaborative discussions with healthcare teams to enhance patient care. Qualifications : Board Certified in Radiology. Experience in emergency department reading preferred. Proficiency in reading all CT scans except CT cardiac. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. License and Certification Requirements : Active North Carolina Medical License. Current DEA registration. Clear background check. Note shift preference upon application.
