The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies that align with JMAs overall business and strategic objectives. They will be responsible for executing sourcing decisions for responsible commodities and suppliers. This role will be a continuous improvement effort to increase the efficiency for all procurement processes and activities.

Responsibilities :

• Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions
• Implement strategies to ensure business continuity
• Negotiations
• Assist in contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Optimize total costs by understanding cost-drivers and executing on cost savings initiatives
• Supplier Management
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships as primary sourcing contact
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and business reviews with other JMA stakeholders to ensure supplier performance
• Collaboration
• Develop and maintain internal relationships with other team members in Engineering Quality Logistics etc. to assist with the project at hand

Qualifications :

$65000 - $85000 a year

The US national annual base salary for this role is $65000-$85000. The range includes the base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to the of scope and complexity of the role the successful candidates relevant experience skills and knowledge peer and market data and geographic location.
