Electrical Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities
Support senior commissioning personnel with coordination, documentation checks, and review of electrical deliverablesAssist in developing and reviewing basic drawings, commissioning plans, data sheets, and supporting documentationPerform routine electrical calculations and contribute to design validation effortsReview vendor submittals to verify alignment with project specificationsUtilize internal engineering resources, standards, and reference tools to complete tasks accuratelyApply foundational knowledge of commissioning, inspection, and functional testing of electrical systems and equipmentMaintain a working understanding of electrical engineering principles and power distribution systemsFamiliarity with common electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, circuit breakers, relays, power panels, metering devices, and associated test toolsProduce clear, technically accurate written documentation and reportsApply advanced math skills to support engineering tasksInterpret and comply with applicable industry standards and codesCommunicate effectively with internal teams, field personnel, and customersWilling to travel periodically for onsite commissioning supportElectrical Commissioning Engineer Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experienceElectrical Commissioning Engineer Abilities
