Job Summary

The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and assisting with daily living activities under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will provide essential care tailored to meet the physical and psychological needs of residents while ensuring compliance with the care plan.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Recording vital signs and providing psycho-social support.
  • Administering prescribed medications, adhering to safety regulations, and documenting care outcomes.
  • Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with food preparation and dining experiences.
  • Communicating important changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse.
  • Qualifications

    We prefer candidates to have :

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum age of 18 years.
  • Prior experience as a nursing assistant in long-term care settings.
  • All candidates must meet state-specific certification requirements along with maintaining yearly competency testing and Continuing Education credits.
