Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Dietitian, assists in visitation, nutritional screening of patients, distributes general references for basic nutrition, and data gathering and reports data to the dietitian. Performs the clerical / support duties necessary for optimal patient care, including the safety and efficiency of food prepared and menu delivery system.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Registered Dietitian Eligible
• Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship or supervised practice
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university

State Specific

The California Business and Professions Code for Dietitians 2586.6 : The RD Eligible may engage in the activities set forth for six months from the date that he or she completed a supervised practice program, or until the person receives notice that he or she failed the examination …whichever occurs first…

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
