CM3 Building Solutions (“CM3”) is currently searching for an energized, experienced Sales Executive to manage and expand our Central / Northern New Jersey Building Automation Solutions business. In this high-profile role, you will promote our Building Automation offering, while also providing bundled solutions to customers, when appropriate, that include; Energy-Efficiency Upgrades, Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, IT Networks, and HVAC Service. As a Sales Executive, you’ll deepen relationships with new and existing clients, engineering firms, general contractors, and mechanical contractors, partnering on their facilities upgrades and new construction projects. Vertical markets targeted for this position include K-12, Higher Education, State Government, Municipalities, Commercial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities include :
Successfully position CM3 to secure targeted opportunities in the assigned territory through proven and effective sales strategies, while partnering on bundled solutions when appropriate.
Develop technical proposals, estimates, financial analysis, and sales presentations in coordination with operations, marketing, finance, and other team members as needed to obtain sales.
Networking through professional organizations such as ASHRAE, AEE, or USGBC to build contacts and promote CM3’s diverse solutions.
Assist consulting engineers with developing Specifications and Sequence of Operations for Building Automation Systems.
Develop and deploy account management strategies and prepare technological roadmaps for current and prospective clients, consultants, and contractors.
Maintain thorough and accurate sales activity reports, forecast reports, and customer database using Customer Relationship Management system.
Provide and review relevant details and documentation to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations for all sold projects.
Monitor implementation phase of sold projects and assist when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; 3 or more years’ experience in Building Automation sales. Experience in estimating and quoting Building Automation projects, along with knowledge in providing technical and financial solutions. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License in good standing. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United State.
